What we do

We help where we are needed. We provide immediate humanitarian aid to people affected by war or natural disaster. As part of our development cooperation, we help people to cut loose and make a living. We focus on the development of health care and social protection as well as  rural development and environmental protection and actively work on systemic changes in Georgia.

In 2021, Caritas Czech Republic celebrates six years its country office in Georgia

The year 2021 Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) marks six years since the registration of its branch in Georgia. In 2015, the local representation of CCR was officially registered as “Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia”. Since that time, Czech Caritas has implemented about twenty development projects and improved the lives of thousands, focusing in particular on people with disabilities, children with autism, and people living in mountainous regions.

Thanks to Visegrad Fund, Caritas delivered hygiene and protective equipment to the ambulatories

Since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic, Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) has been assisting Georgian health care system to respond adequately to suddenly emerged challenges. Under the partnership with International Visegrad Fund, Czech Caritas extends its material support to rural ambulatories in Western Georgia, which provide medical services to local communities of internally displaced persons (IDPs).
