As part of our development cooperation, we help people to cut loose and make a living. Nino Paatashvili started a child development centre from her own home. Today, her centre supports more than 300 children in Georgia

For Autism Awareness Month in April, we interviewed Nino Paatashvili, the director of the Child Development Center in Telavi. The centre in a small town in Georgia has been supporting the development of children since it was established in 2000. Caritas Czech Republic is closely cooperating with the Georgian government to develop state services for children and advocate for children's services that are not established in the region, including services for children with autism.

Caritas Czech Republic continues to support veterinary services in Georgia

Caritas Czech Republic continues to support veterinary services in Georgia. For this purpose, last week, we handed over to the National Food Agency a high-power generator and thermal bags. The generator will be installed in the central office of the National Food Agency in Tbilisi. It will ensure the storage of vaccines and other perishable substances during a power outage, while the thermal bags will be used by the agency's veterinary brigades, which are involved in vaccination and other veterinary services.
