Project aim: The project's overall goal is to improve the resilience of individuals and communities, making them better able to withstand the impacts of climate change by strengthening disaster risk management capacity.

Project results: Assessed hydrological and geological risks in Oni Municipality; Developed emergency management plan for Oni Municipality based on the assessment; Trained representatives from the mayor's office in disaster risk reduction and management; participatory approaches, involving Oni Municipality representatives working with project experts on planned activities are used; Developed a disaster risk management strategy for Oni Municipality, outlining the involvement of target groups in risk reduction and management phases. Awareness raising campaigns are also envisaged to be conducted through the project. Key targets are to develop emergency risk management plans to improve schools' resilience to climate change-induced disasters; Conduct simulation exercises and training for school communities in community-based disaster risk management.
