Full name of project: Improving health and social care accessibility for Persons with Disabilities

- Project partner: Georgian Association of Social Workers (GASW), Georgian Health Law and Bioethics Society (GHLBS), Georgian Association of Family Doctors (GAFD)
- Description: In the frame of the project important steps were taken towards promoting the social model of disability. The role of the primary healthcare in the prevention and early detection of disability was emphasized, various types of barriers in healthcare were identified and importance of engagement of social workers in primary healthcare for reducing these barriers and improving quality of services.
