The stunning beauty of fairy tales becomes reality in Racha, a region that has for years been one of the most popular destinations for tourists seeking to discover the natural beauties of Georgia.
The family hotel "Artist's House" in particular attracts the attention of tourists in Upper Racha. The hotel, known for its beautiful exteriors as well as interiors, has been hosting people since 2010 and has many loyal guests.
The hosts are an artist couple, Elene Magrakvelidze and Temur Gugeshashvili, who moved from Tbilisi to Oni.
They have created a small cultural center in their house that includes an ethnographic-geological museum. The house itself is traditional and authentic to the region and includes a wine cellar.
The family hotel is full of many amazing objects handcrafted by Mrs. Elene and Mr. Temur which, along with the Racha wine, create an unforgettable impression.
From today, visiting the "Artist's House" will also be comfortable in the wintertime.
Elene and Temur have purchased a heating system for the hotel as part of a grant competition announced by Caritas Czech Republic. Now, they are ready to offer their guests a warm place for overnight stays.
