On 27th, of August, 2019, in the frame of the EU funded project “Promotion Rural Development and Diversification in Khulo Municipality”, Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia (CCRG) and Tourism and Resort Department of Ajara signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
According to the memorandum, parties agree to strengthening cooperation and coordination in order to further develop tourism in Khulo municipality.
During the meeting parties have shared future plans. The head of Tourism and Resort Department of Ajara, Tinatin Zoidze, made presentation of ongoing and planned activities of the department. She underlined Mountain-based and Adventure Tourism development perspectives and plans in Khulo municipality. On the other side, Ekaterine Meskhrikadze, Head of the Mission of CCRG and ENPARD Khulo project manager, Giorgi Murvanidze, shared information regarding the financed and registered project applications in frame of Rural Development grant competition.
