Caritas Czech Republic handed over the furniture to the Children’s orphanage

Very soon Tbilisi Children’s orphanage beneficiaries will have opportunity to receive new service at the small family style home constructed with support of the US government.

For final arrangement of the service, Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia provided furniture manufactured in compliance with the needs of beneficiaries and delivered respective training for the staff which will be able to ensure its mission and take care of the children with disabilities under the state care in due manner.

“I hope that the children with various types of disabilities under the state care will feel more at home in this small family style residence than in current large institutions and this home will offer them more possibilities and the environment good for their development. For Caritas CR it is great honor to be part of this big initiative and we are glad that we can contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the children with disabilities under the state care"- mentioned Jan Blinka, the head of the Caritas Czech Republic mission in Georgia.

With this once again we would like today, on December 10 on the international day of human right emphasize that no one should be left behind, especially those who need our support and care.

The activity is carried out with the financial support of Czech Development Agency under the project “Establishment of children’s long term and palliative care services in Georgia” being implemented by Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia. In the frame of the project from 2021 the special pediatric long term care service will be available for children with disabilities under the state care who are in need of specialized care services.
