Full name of Project: Establishment and promotion of cancer screening center in Zugdidi

• Description: The project aims at increasing geographic accessibility to national cancer screening programs (breast, cervical, prostate and colorectal cancer) for the population of Samegrelo- ZemoSvaneti region including rural areas and population of Abkhazia given the proximity of the border. The operation of the screening center is also supported by NCDC through the National Screening Program of Georgia. In parallel, CCRG continues educational activities for the population in the region about cancer prevention and early detection with the purpose to reduce cancer related stigma and draw theattention of population to available cancer screening programs.
